Greetings / Introductions

Last Meeting Recap (Andrew Martin)

  • Data Quest gave a presentation on the services they offer
  • Website is now live and has several tools for C.L.A.B. Members
  • Faith Kitchen needs some volunteers (see minutes from last meeting for details)
  • Taste of Cambridge
    • Smaller, local brands for alcohol sponsorship
    • Accept “bids” from other areas of city to consider moving event

ArtistBomb.com Presentation

  • They have a special algorithm to calculate estimated draw from artists
  • Within 20% accuracy of predictions
  • Have over 200 artists in their database
  • Promotes to several website pages at once
  • Dropped off additional materials to those present
  • Only costs $30/mo – is flexible based on contributions

Treasury Update (Richard Hilaire)

  • Looking for someone to check the P.O. Box in Harvard
  • Checking to see if anyone from Hong Kong will take on such a role
  • No income in the last month
  • Paid tax returns

  • Also working on cleaning up the email list – anyone not getting the emails?

City of Cambridge Update (Elizabeth Lint)

  • Still focusing on Hackney licenses
  • Pedicabs coming back this summer

Dispensary Inclusion (Andrew Martin)

  • We decided that this is something we should continue to think about – should they be included within our group?
  • 1 has already been approved for Cambridge
  • Probably not going to be a Licensing issue (medical use only)

Cambridge Prevention Coalition (CPC) / 21+ Proof Update (Keisha Ormond)

  • APRIL TRAINING CLASS COMING UP
  • Still researching online training – hoping to introduce soon
  • 21+ Proof training is required to become the “Manager on Record”

Harvard University Update (Michelle Mandino / Ryan Travia)

  • On Spring Break right now
  • Commencement takes place over the weekend of the 29th

MIT Update (Don Camelio)

  • NOT PRESENT

Office of Tourism Update (Robyn Culbertson)

  • NOT PRESENT

Taste of Cambridge (TOC) (Robin Lapidus)

  • Date: Tuesday, July 15th – Thursday, July 17th (Rain Date)
  • Holding separate TOC meetings (probably on the Wednesday after CLAB)
  • Looking to create the Beneficiary Committee first
    • Review 28th – May 1st
    • Need applications to be distributed

  • Still looking for a June host
  • We may be skipping July, as most of us should be busy with TOC
